Today is one of those quiet, reflective days. It has been imposed upon us by the fact that it is a national and religious holiday.
The roads have fallen quiet; the shops are closed; the shopping centres are not open. There are no stages, concerts and pumping music. The world seems a quieter place, today.
Other capital cities never experience such luxury, anymore. New York, London, Paris… they never stop. Pity them.
Today, in Warsaw, we stop. Thank heavens for that.
